The yard...it's all about the yard...
The house will be awesome when we are done, but the land, the views....that is the reason we LOVE this house!! 1.69 acres of a beautiful wooded lot...thought you might want to know the real reason we decided to embark on this journey!!
The front yard....although overgrown will be wooded & beautiful
Our backyard bridge over our stream, leading to our huge garden
Backyard view from the deck
View from the basement great room to the backyard
The boys already LOVE our new neighbors too who have 3 kids and a sweet playground or "ship" as they like to call it!
Pulling out 30 year old bushes...
This is no small task, let me tell you!!! Two days of hard work, squealing wheels, and some sore hands & bodies later, this is what we have...
and thanks to my parents for letting us use the old mini-van who left a bit of rubber on the driveway
Ted & my dad finished pulling all of the bushes out...he looks tired huh? It's a rough job!!!
Thank you to Dad and Mark for helping!!!
