Master, ready for carpet!

We finally finished painting the bedroom yesterday, thanks to Mark for all the hard work! :)

Kitchen

The kitchen cabinets & countertops are in and looking awesome!!! 

Take that Martha Stewart!

I saw the perfect kitchen cabinets at Home Depot, the Martha Stewart collection, but realized replacing the entire kitchen with those cabinets would probably be more than we wanted to spend. So...we found an amazing company to make them and they started installing them today. All I can say is, love them and take that Martha!!!

And just in case you needed a reminder of what the kitchen looked like when we bought the house...here you go...

Mom's hard work

This is the famous closet that took mom 3 days and about 5 gallons of paint to finish!!

She also painted the ceiling, primed the walls, & painted the window panes in our bedroom...looking very clean & updated.

Shaker Shingles!!!

The new shaker shingles started going up yesterday and they look so cool!! They are just primed, so they will be painted, along with the siding, but you get the idea!!

New front yard

We had water leaking down into the basement foundation, so we now have a completely new grade on the front yard to prevent future leaking...looks fantastic and will actually give the boys a front yard to play on.

Two of the biggest projects we have been waiting for were done today...the new window & door installed!
